After making the same banana cherry smoothie all summer I decided to shake it up a bit with something a little more seasonal. I was so surprised when I took a bite of this, it tastes JUST like pumpkin pie filling!! And you can’t even taste the *secret* ingredient. 😏

vegan pumpkin spice smoothie recipe

• Ingredients •
1 frozen banana
1/3 cup pumpkin purée 
1/4 cup frozen cauliflower (optional, but helps with creaminess)
1-2 pitted dates, chopped
1/2 cup plant based milk
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Blend all ingredients until smooth adding more milk if it seems too thick. Make sure your dates are pretty finely chopped before you blend them, blenders have trouble with dried fruit.

Have fun with toppings! I like sprinkling on a handful of granola, some sliced banana and a pinch of cinnamon. Crumbled graham crackers are also a solid choice.
